Albany-

Agnes Edwards Hurley, 79, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Albany Medical Center. Born on August 10, 1941 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of William and Isabella Edwards. Agnes was a graduate of the College of Saint Rose. She became a teacher and later a principal at the Sunshine School and then principal at School #18 until her retirement from the Albany School District.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Dennis, sisters Margaret (Allan) Larsen and Mary Edwards.
She is survived by her nieces Christina Larsen, Susanna Lauster(Bill), Elizabeth Esposito (George) and a nephew Stephen Larsen (Karen). She is also survived by three great nieces Emily Sterantino and Danielle and Rachel Larsen and relations in England and Wales of the Sharpe, Morgan, Jones and Francis families. She also has left behind her beloved dog Beatrys.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am on Monday, February 22 at Blessed Sacrament Church in Albany. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private.
