Agnes Marsh

Agnes V. Marsh died peacefully with her son by her side on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center where she resided for nearly seven years after a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. 

She was predeceased by her parents: Harry J and Etola S Myers; brothers: Jim and Tom; her beloved husband, Robert T Marsh (2012); daughter Deborah J Becker (2015) and great-grandson Derek R Becker (2020). Educated in Albany schools, she was employed as a civil servant and retired after nearly 30 years with NYS DMV. 

She is survived by her sons: Rev. James T Marsh and Robert M (Annmarie) Marsh; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as cousins, and a host of nieces, and nephews. Both she and her husband enjoyed all the varied activities that their grands and great-grands participated in throughout the years, particularly every baseball or basketball game where they could be heard cheering vociferously from the sidelines. 

A Funeral Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial was celebrated by her son followed by internment next to her husband in Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. All services were private.
