Colonie- Agnes Joan (Biette) Reckner, 82, peacefully passed away at Albany Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 25, 2017. Agnes was born in Clifton Park, NY, to the late Charles M. and Matilda Biette on March 1, 1935. She was the devoted wife of 59 years to the late Paul Reckner.
Agnes attended Mechanicville Highschool. She loved to gather with her family and friends, play the lottery, bake, and enjoyed seeing her garden grow.
Agnes is survived by her sister, Barbara (Biette) Sears, son, Paul (Deanna) Reckner Jr., their children, Paula, John Paul, and Michael Reckner, Nicolaas (Katherine) Beukers, son, Charles (Kristine) Reckner, their children, Charles Jr. (Carolyn), Erin Reckner, Genevieve, and Michael Chornyak, Marika (Thomas) Papa, 9 great grand children, 1 great great grand daughter, 1 soon to be great great grand daughter, along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her beloved husband, Agnes is predeceased by her siblings, Charles, William, Robert, Catherine, and Leona, and grand son, Ronald Beukers.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, on Thursday, September 28th, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, the funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, with the burial to take place after services at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
