ALBANY – Aileen B. Bacon, 82, found peace on Friday, August 9, 2013.
Born in Schenectady, Aileen was the daughter of the late Ruby and Esther (Zuckerman) Becker and wife of the late Ernest Bacon.
Aileen received her Master's Degree in Social Work and had a private practice for several years before retiring.
Aileen is the mother of Linda Bacon (Lee Odell), James (Susan), Jane, David (Susan) and Kevin (Ann) Bacon. She is the sister of Judith (Jim Kyprios), Sharen and Warren Becker and the late Sandra Becker. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Pine West Plaza Building 2, Suite 204, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Aileen B. Bacon.
