ALBANY – Aileen Welter, 85, of Temecula, California, formerly of Albany passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, after a brief illness at the home of her daughter. It was Heaven's roll call and our Heavenly Father said, "Aileen there's someone else whose been waiting for you. It's Jesus, My Beloved Son. Here he comes now with open arms and he whispered 'peace at last', come follow me".
Aileen was the daughter of the late William and Anna Jaked Doyle. She is survived by her devoted daughter and caregiver, Dianne (David) Cooper; her loving sons, Joseph (Diane) Welter and Richard (Lisa) Welter. Devoted grandmother of Lindsay and Evan Cooper, Samantha and Emily Welter and Sheri (Joseph) Yeager. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Welter and sisters, Jane Redder and Marilyn St. Onge. Aileen also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
A special graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Calvary Cemetery, Rt. 9, Glenmont, NY at 12 noon. Contributions in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or please say some prayers in her honor for the poor souls in purgatory.
