Alan Hussey

COLONIE – Alan Foster Hussey, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2006 at this home. Born in Troy, on March 17, 1960, he is the beloved son of Neta P. Hussey and the late Harry Hussey. As a young boy, Alan was a Boy Scout, achieving the honor of Eagle Scout. He worked as an independent contractor at the time of his passing. Alan was a skilled craftsman and made beautiful furniture for his family. He also spent time with his son making various hand crafted items. Alan's favorite past time was watching his son play football at Guilderland High School. In addition to his mother, he is the devoted father of Kyle Hussey. He is the loving brother of Wendy Trance and her husband, James and Mark Hussey and his wife, Sheryl. He is the cherished uncle of Jill and Joe Guarino, Amy Trance, Micah Ogburn and Josh and Christopher Hussey. He is the great-uncle of Collin and Brianna Guarino.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 9:30 to 11:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dutchman Football, c/o Booster Club, P.O. Box 728, Guilderland, NY 12084 in memory of Alan F. Hussey.
