Colonie- Alberta M. Parr, 89, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015.
Alberta was born on July 7, 1925 to the late Nicholas and Barbara Noppinger in Baltimore, MD. She was the youngest of six brothers and sisters.
Alberta is predeceased by her son and daughter-in-law, William R. Jr. and Dinah Parr, her husband William R. Parr Sr., and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her two daughters; Barbara (Lou) Van Geest, and Catherine (Ed) Donohue, her grandchildren; Charlene, Eddie, Jon, Kari, Joy, and Rachel, her 9 cherished great-grandchildren, and her grand-dog, "Playdoh."
Visitation will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY, on Saturday, June 13, 2015, from 10:30am -11:00am with a service to immediately follow. Burial will take place at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Albany, NY.
Donations may be made in Alberta's name to Community Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital, 315 S. Manning Blvd, Albany, NY.
