Alex Wayne Price Sr. was born in Albany NY to Daisy Rose Willingham and Joseph L. Price Sr. He departed his life peacefully at home February 20,2021.
Alex was raised in Albany N.Y, attended Albany High School. He worked for the New York State Department of Tax & Finance as a Supply Assistant. He was very loyal and enjoyed his career.
He was also known for his gift as an Artist. He loved being the proud Grandfather of 4 precious grandsons, Cayden, Alex, Savior and Langston all of Albany NY.
He also enjoyed building computers, model cars and nurturing his pet reptiles.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, Lorraine Chesnut Price and their son Alex Wayne Price Jr.; siblings, Arthur M. Willingham Jr.,Joseph L. Price Jr. of Albany and Michelle Price Belle of North Carolina; his father, Joseph L. Price Sr. of Albany, uncles, Harvey Price and Uncle David Glass of Albany; nieces, Cherron Hoffler (Delmondrell) of NC, Elon, Nachia and ShaRon Willingham of Albany; nephews; Ronnie and Dearian Belle of NC and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
Preceding in his journey was his mother, Daisy Rose Willingham.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 1-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Services will be private.
Occupancy within our chapels will be based on the current NYS Guidelines. Masks are required while visiting our chapels and social distancing must be practiced.
