Alexander James Gray

Cohoes- Alexander James Gray of Cohoes passed away peacefully on April 18,2025 surrounded by love.

Alex was very young when he survived a near drowning. He was a brave and a handsome young man who made a huge impression on the lives of so many people. He taught patience and compassion and love. Alex always enjoyed music and going for rides and going to Disney. He loved reading books and quiet time also.

Alex is survived by his loving mother Nancy (Gray) Walker, his beloved sister Christina Gray, his loving aunt and uncle Kathy and Ed Kingsley. He is predeceased by his grandparents Elizabeth and Donald Gray.

The family would like to thank each and every person that took care of Alex or made an impact on his life over the years.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 3pm-5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A memorial service will follow at 5pm officiated by Rev Nicholas TeBordo.
