Alfred J. Bryant

Schenectady - Alfred J. Bryant, formerly of Rural Grove, 83, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Alfred was the son of the late Harry and Florence Bryant. Alfred was the devoted husband to Pauline Bryant. They were married 56 years.

Al was a dedicated Logistics Operator for many years before becoming an Owner Operator. Al liked riding motorcycles - in his early days. He was and avid admirer of antique cars and had the opportunity to even own one. Al enjoyed his Tablet, especially watching YouTube trucking videos and playing Solitaire. Al also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Alyssa, David, Dennis, Kateri, Daniel and great granddaughter, Sophia.

Al is survived by his children, Edward Bryant and Barbara Bryant; and many loving friends.

Al was predeceased by grandson, Edward Bryant, Jr. and his sister, Mary Margaret Bryant.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie,on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Canajoharie Falls Cemetery, 6339 NY-10, Canajoharie, on September 23, 2017 at 10:30 am.
