Colonie- Alice M. Maney, 71, was called to God's service on Thursday, October 20, 2005. Born and raised in Albany, Alice spent her life as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Alice had worked for Picotte for over twenty years.
Alice is predeceased by her beloved husband George J. Maney, Sr.. In June Alice and George celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Alice is also predeceased by her sisters Betty and Mary.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her six children, Thomas (Beth) Maney, Kathleen (Bob) Womer, Timothy Maney, Christopher (Kathryn) Maney, George Maney and Shawn Maney; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and her brother Jack.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Alice M. Maney.
