ALBANY- Alice Mae Barker, 87, affectionately known as "Ma Barker" made her transition on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 with her loving family by her side.
Alice Mae was born on November 21, 1928 in Hudson, NY to the late Glen and Ann Carter.
Alice Mae is predeceased by her loving husband, Francis P. Barker, her son, Richard F. Barker, and her sister, Elise Rowe.
She is survived by her children; Marilyn (Jamie) E. Barker-Hammond, Glen (Theresa) F. Barker, Allen (Patricia) C. Barker, her nieces; Janet Cross, and Anna Mae Lane, her grandchildren; Sonya, Glen Jr., Isaac Jr., and David Jr., her great grandchildren; Kijaana, Amaan, Kai, Xavier, David, Davani, Daylin, and Avery, and her great-great grandchildren, Kailyah, Kiaree, Anaaji, Braylon, and Bryson.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Monday, January 18, 2016, from 10:00am-12:00pm with a service to immediately follow. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont, NY.
