COLONIE – Alice R. Maloney, 73, of Colonie, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Albany Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Jordan. Mrs. Maloney worked as an executive secretary for the former New York Telephone Company from where she retired after 43 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church and a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Alice is the beloved wife of 48 years to William E. Maloney. She is the devoted mother of Marlo Maloney of Colonie and Christopher (Lisa) Maloney of Ballston Spa. She is the cherished grandmother of Dawson and Sarah Maloney.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 11:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Alice R. Maloney.
