Alice Scheffey

BETHLEHEM – Alice G. Scheffey, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2005. She was born in Towanda, PA and was the daughter of the late John E. and Louise Irving Graham. Mrs. Scheffey was a lifelong resident of the Bethlehem area. Alice graduated from St. Agnes High School in Towanda and St. Mary's Business School in Wilkes Barre, PA. Alice was a bookkeeper for 30 years for Klersy Building Corp. in Delmar. She was the beloved wife of the late George Scheffey. Alice was also predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by several nieces and nephews in Towanda, PA, Florida and North and South Carolina. Also surviving are many special friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Alice's family requests that no flowers be sent. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Catholic Charities of Albany, 40 North Main Ave., Albany, NY 12203 in memory of Alice G. Scheffey.
