Castleton – Alice "Mickey" Sweet,69, passed away on December 22, 2014. Born December 29, 1944 she is the daughter of the late Albert and Alice Sweet.
Mickey is survived her sister, Robin Amsler; her brothers, Billy and Scott (Michelle) Sweet; and sister-in-law Cheryl Sweet. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and her canine companion "Corkey".
In addition to her parents, Mickey is predeceased by her siblings, Junior Sweet, Michael Sweet, David Sweet and Sharon Cristman; her brother-in-law Dave Amsler; and her nephew Deven Sweet.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at SUNY Medical Hospital ICU Burn Unit, Albany Medical Center, Dr. Lettrick, Castleton Ambulance and the Schodack Police Dept.
Those wishing to remember Mickey in a special way, may make memorial contributions in her name to The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 or the Castleton Ambulance, 1700 Brookview Rd., Castleton, NY.
Memorial calling hours will be held for Mickey on Saturday January 3rd from 4-7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home.
