GUILDERLAND – Allen R. McClearnen, 49, passed away after a sudden illness on Sunday, February 12, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Robert A. and Frances A. McClearnen. Allen resided in Guilderland for twenty years. He was a graduate of Mercy College and was currently working for Key Corp for 21 years as an Integration Architect. Allen was a member of Jonesville United Methodist Church and the Civil War Roundtable. He was a military history buff and an active 4H Dad. Allen is the beloved husband of eighteen years to Nancy (Fuller) McClearnen. He is the devoted father of Hannah and Allen McClearnen. Allen is the loving son-in-law of Jim and Jule Fuller and brother-in-law of Jim and Betty Fuller, Tom and Shelley Fuller and Fred and Katie Fuller. Also surviving are his cherished nieces and nephews, Jaime, Colleen, Thomas, Sara, Liam and Caroline.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to: Benefit Hannah & Allen McClearnen in c/o any Key Bank.
