Allyson Rose Butterbaugh-Nadler
July 11, 1966 — February 12, 2023
ALBANY- Allyson Rose Butterbaugh-Nadler, age 56, passed away on February 22, 2023 from complications of Frontotemporal Dementia at Albany Medical Center.
She was born in North Tarrytown, NY, the daughter of Melvyn Butterbaugh and Barbara Haverly.
Allyson is survived by her children: Leon, Nico, Vick, and Vaughn; and was predeceased by her daughter Rachael Marietta Nadler.
She is also survived by her parents: Barbara and Melvyn (Lynnette); five sisters: Donna, Doris, Lenora, Melody and Kara. Her sister Joan predeceased her.
Music was always important to Allyson and her family will always have fond memories of her lovely voice.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 11th at 3 PM at: Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1580 Central Avenue, Albany, NY 12205.
The service will not be in the Sanctuary, but in the dining room towards the back of the church. It is best to enter from the side of the building closest to Stewart's, about half way back. There is a handicapped entrance and someone to assist. Please join the family afterward for a light meal and a time for remembering.
For those who cannot travel, there is a Zoom meeting. You should have the Zoom app loaded on your computer or other device and good access to the Internet. The meeting is set up so that all can join without entering passwords. You will automatically be placed on mute when entering the meeting. The meeting opens at 2:30 but the service will begin at 3:00. You can join before 3 if you wish.
