Alyce B. Van Vranken

Van Vranken, Alyce B., 78, was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 6, 2022.
Born January 11, 1944 to the late Alexander Filkins and Norma Wurz.
Alyce was a faithful Christian. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother; her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all meant the world to her. She was loved and adored by all and a blessing to everyone who knew her. We take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with the love of her life, her husband Eddy.
Some of Alyce's favorite pastimes were playing bingo with her sister Kathryn, watching the NY Yankees, and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Her kind and loving heart and spunky personality will be missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on. Music brought much joy to Alyce's life. She always loved a good party, and could never resist the Wooly Bully. She loved a good girls night, spent singing and dancing with her daughters.

Alyce is predeceased by her parents, the love of her life Edward G. Van Vranken Sr.; her siblings; brothers William A., Ronald E., Gerald A., John A., Norman J., Martin V. Filkins;

Alyce is survived by her children Alicia A. Conyers; Maria B.(Bobby) Van Vranken , Patricia I. (Louis) Hillebrandt, Edward G.(Jolene) Van Van Vranken Jr., Deanna L. Catherwood, David R. Van Vranken;
Grandchildren Anthony W. (Sarah) Conyers, Alyson M. (Dan) Conyers, Joshua E. Hillebrandt, Emilee A. Van Vranken, Tyler E. Van Vranken, David R. Van Vranken, Bo J. Catherwood, Luke E. Catherwood;
Great Grandchildren Mia Conyers, Gemma Conyers, A.J. Conyers, Vinny Conyers, Sadie Conyers, Melody Hillebrandt; Survived siblings Joseph H. (Estelle) Filkins, Robert E. (Rosemary) Filkins, Kathryn M. Strope,
Patricia A. Filkins, Richard D. Filkins, Teresa M. Chartier, James G. (Cynthia) Filkins, Mary L. Filkins. and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A heartfelt thank you to our Aunt Patsy for your love and your support in Alyce's final days.
