Anastasia Nikiforov
October 31, 1952 — July 23, 2014
COLONIE – Anastasia Nikiforov, 61, reposed peacefully with resignation of God's will on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Fischbeck, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Pavel and Olga Nikiforov.
She is survived by her siblings, Viktor Pawloff (Heike), Antonina Shevtchuk (Anatoli), Ludmila Sinkevich, Alex Nikiforov (Barbara), Alexandra Sinkevich and many nieces and nephews.
A Panakhida service will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm at the Nativity of the Mother of God Russian Orthodox Church, 617 Sand Creek Road, Colonie. The burial service will follow a luncheon on Saturday at Holy Trinity Monastery, Jordonville, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anastasia's name to the church mortgage fund. Checks may be made payable to NOTMOG ROC (Nativity of the Mother of God Russian Orthodox Church).
