Andrew C. Lewis, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at St. Peters Hospital after a brief illness, with his loving family by his side.
Andrew was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, the son of the late John Lewis and Archery Lewis.
Andrew was the devoted husband of over 51 years to the late Dorothy L. Lewis.
Andrew is survived by his children, Curtis D. Lewis (Tyra) Rochester, NY and Sandra Lewis-Rucker (Dakim) Colonie; two grandchildren, Elijah D. McCann and Malcolm-Ishmel McCann.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church, 2165 5th Ave.,Troy.
A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Church. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
