ALBANY- Andrew Callens, 83, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at his home.
Andrew was born on September 13, 1926 in Selma, Alabama to the late Levi and Annie Mae Callens. He worked as an assistant custodian at The First Church in Albany for many years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his nieces, Theresa Callens and Clarissa Robinson both of Albany; his sister-in-law, Mary Callens of Albany, and two nephews. He is predeceased by five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at The First Church in Albany, 110 North Pearl St., Albany. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment, Graceland Cemetery in Albany.
