Andrew (Andy) James Carlton, 56, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022, in his home with his partner by his side.
He was born in Glens Falls, NY on April 7, 1966, the son of Sharon (Allen) Bird and Clarence Carlton III
Andy was a hard worker. He worked in management in many local supermarkets. In his later years his health forced him to be on disability.
The best way to describe Andy is that he had the biggest heart and truly loved giving to his family and friends. One of his greatest joys were his pets. He also loved birds and flowers and had an extensive collection of both.
He loved music and the ocean and often talked about moving to Florida with his partner. He will truly be missed.
Andy was the fourth child out of six. He was predeceased by his father Clarence Carlton, step sister Heather Ann, younger brother James Arthur Carlton and Niece Ashley Elizabeth.
Left to cherish the memory of Andy is his loving partner, Richard Caraballo; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Keeley (David) Zack of South Glens Falls; Colleen Carlton of Glens Falls; Clarence (Betty) Carlton IV of Glens Falls; Louis Carlton of Hudson Falls. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews who he dearly loved.
Visitation will be Monday, August 1, 2022 from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205 with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
