Andrew F. Flynn

COLONIE - Andrew F. Flynn, 25, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010. He was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, on September 16, 1984, and has been a resident of Colonie since the age of 6 months. Andrew is the son of Daniel P. and Pamela B. Flynn of Colonie, and Karen A. Flynn of Ravena. He was a 2002 graduate of Colonie Central High School. Andrew joined the United States Air Force in 2003, leaving in 2005 as an Airman (Amn) with an honorable release from active duty. He graduated from Herkimer College in 2008 with an A.A.S. in management, and was employed with N.Y. S. Department of Taxation and Finance as a Taxpayer Services Specialist. He enjoyed trivia nights and playing DDR with his friends.
In addition to his father, stepmother and mother, Andrew is survived by his sister, Erin Flynn and his brothers, Sean Flynn, Padraic Flynn, Paul Clink (Ron Warner), and Matt Clink.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday, April 23, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie (Rt. 155 – south of Central Avenue). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 120 Wall St., 22nd Floor, New York, NY 10005 in memory of Andrew F. Flynn.
