Andrew J. Poleto

COLONIE, NY – Andrew J. Poleto, 48, of Colonie, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 28, 2008, after a hard battle with liver failure. Andy was a boilermaker for many years. He was a big-hearted guy who loved his family and baseball. Andy is the son of Norma Poleto and the late John (Pesky) Poleto. He is the father of Andrew Jr. and Jesse Poleto and their mother, Yvonne Poleto. Andy is the brother of Teddy, Danny, Frank (Jenny) and Cindy (John) Ainsley. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Victory Christian Church c/o the Feeding Center, 118 Quail Street, Albany, NY 12206 in memory of Andrew J. Poleto.
