Schenectady- Andrew M. Jones, 22, a beautiful life gone too soon, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. He was born in Schenectady on August 9, 1993. He graduated from Duanesburg High School.
Andrew had a passion for music and playing guitar. He especially loved The Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin. Andrew loved going to shows and hanging out on Shakedown. Andrew loved to be with friends. He enjoyed the outdoors and taking nature hikes.
Andrew was a peacemaker at heart and wanted those around him to be happy; He had a gentle soul. He loved making people laugh.
He survived by his mother, Cindy Jones; his great-grandma, Marjorie Boettner; his grandfather, Richard (Melissa Perry) Jones; two uncles, Eric Jones and Ricky (Sarah) Jones; three aunts, Linda Jones, Wendy (Randy) Bell, Debra LaRue; and many loving friends that will miss him dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 3-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A service will follow at 6pm at the funeral home.
