Angela Bernado

ALBANY- Angela M. Bernado, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday September 20, 2006 at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Angelo and Catherine Rinaldi Annello. Angela had worked for over twenty years as a stenographer with General Accident Insurance Company in Albany. She was a member of the HB Kuhn Seniors and the Colonie Elks bocci league.
Angela was predeceased by her husband Joseph Bernado, her son Frederick Vogelsang her grandson Michael,and her siblings, Felicia Testa, Mary Conde, Anthony, Joseph, Carmen, Pepi and Maurice Annello.
She is the beloved mother of Robert Vogelsang and Ronald (Diane) Vogelsang; Grandmother of Ronald (Kim) Vogelsang and Kristine Vogelsang; great grandmother of Michael, Nicola and Zachary; Sister of Rose Lemme, John (Rosemary) Annello and Salvatore (Shirley) Annello; sister in law of Carmella Annello and Marilyn Annello. Dear friend and companion of Robert Whitlock. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be St. Agnes Cemetery Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 950 New Loudon Rd.
