Angela G. Dunigan Halpin

RENSSELAER, NY – Angela G. Ciaccia Dunigan Halpin, 91, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 16, 2011.
Born December 3, 1919, she was the daughter of the late John and Angela (Rapp) Ciaccia. Angela worked briefly for the JC Penny Company, managing the children's department. She enjoyed playing poker and bingo at the casinos. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband Tom. Angela was the widow of Thomas L. Halpin and John J. Dunigan Sr. In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by her daughter, Claire Dunigan.
Angela is the devoted mother of eight children: Rosemary (Ed) Kelly of Lake George, Effie Parisi of Scotia, Angela Dunigan (James Russell) of Castleton, John (Ginny) Dunigan of East Greenbush, Arthur "Mickey" (Barb) Dunigan of Rotterdam Junction, Edward Dunigan of Saratoga Springs and Richard Dunigan of Florida. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions in Angela's name may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd.
