ALBANY- Angela Piermarchi Kay, 92, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2006 at Teresian House Nursing Home, after a brief illness. She was born in Utica and was the daughter of the late Eduardo Piermarchi and Rose Rovello Piermarchi Talucci.
Angela had worked as personal shopper for Whitney's Department Store in Albany and retired from Travelers Insurance Company. She loved classical music and frequently attended the Metropolitan Opera and Saratoga Performing Arts. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid bridge player.
She is the beloved mother of Mary Sanders of Hallendale, FL and Allyson Regan of Albany. Grandmother of Jessica Bodie and her husband Bradley, Lauri Sanders both of Florida and Michael Regan of Albany. Great grandmother of Connor Bodie. Sister of Joseph Talucci of Andover, MA and the late Adelaide P. Del Monico.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 11:00 at the Infant of Prague Chapel at the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave Ext. Albany. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 10 to 11 am the Teresian House. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd. Loudonville, NY 12211 or to the charity of one's choice. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Newcomerfamily.com
