Angeline J. Barthelmas

ALBANY – Angeline J. Barthelmas, 94, passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on Monday, December 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Angeline was predeceased by her husband George P. Barthelmas, Sr.; parents Anthony and Antoinette Massimo; daughter Linda May Warner; sisters Carrie, Theresa, Phyllis and Marie, and her only brother John.

Angeline was the loving mother of George, Jr. (Karen) and William G. (Sue); loving grandmother of Tara A., Lisa M., Amanda L., Brandon P., Jonathan J., Ashley P., and Dalton L.; great-grandmother to Alyssa, Alexis, Nathan, Giada, Ava and Lyla, as well as a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews, whom she adored.

Angeline, "Angie," as she was lovingly known by all, enjoyed telling jokes and always kept everyone laughing. She loved to play the daily numbers and always had a theory behind them. Elvis Presley was her favorite entertainer and Angie has a collection of his pictures and songs. She loved cooking and collecting new recipes. Angie always loved watching family enjoy the meals she would make.
Angie was a great conversationalist and spoke to all, no matter where she was. She was very friendly and outgoing. We will miss her dearly, yet we know she will always be at our sides.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
