Angeline M. Spinelli

COLONIE – Angeline Marie Spinelli, 90, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Bernardino and Nancy Gambacorta. Angeline had worked as a seamstress with J. Debeer & Sons and M. Solomon fashions in her earlier years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Angeline enjoyed baking, cooking and spending time with her cherished family. She was a member of the St. Francis Seniors.
Angeline is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Rocco C. Spinelli. She is the loving mother of Arcangelo Spinelli, Bernard Spinelli, Leonardo (Barbara) Spinelli, Rocco (Kathleen) Spinelli and Loretta (John) Mellen. She is the sister of Grace DiMura and the late Mary Cardella, Frank and Bernardino Gambacorta. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:15 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive Loudonville at 11:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Angeline M. Spinelli.
