Anita L. Damon

Delmar- Anita L. Damon, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at Atria Shaker on August 10, 2017.
She was predeceased by her husband Clifton Damon and her brother Edward LaFlamme. She is survived by her loving daughters: Rachel Damon Criscione and Judy Damon Nevins; three grandchildren: Amy (Nicholas) Bevins, Emily (Mark) Prosser and Nicholas Criscione as well as four great-grandchildren: Madelyn Bevins, Benjamin Bevins, Ava Grayce Prosser and Declan Prosser.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, August 13 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am on Monday, August 14 at St. Matthew's Church, Voorheesville. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Community Hospice for more than four years of loving support and care, also, the staff at the Atria Shaker for their compassionate care and attention.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Anita's name to Community Hospice, Gift Processing Center, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
