Duanesburg- Ann Costeniuc, 93, passed away on Friday, April 07, 2017.
Ann was born on December 20, 1923 to the late Peter and Mary Kyzyma in Rome, NY. She was a loyal employee for NYS in the Department of Environmental Conservation where she ultimately retired. She was the loving wife of George Costeniuc for over 50 years. Ann was a devout Catholic, and a proud member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church in Watervliet, NY. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her passion in life was her family.
Ann is predeceased by her loving husband, George Costeniuc, her daughter, Laraine Green-Sanderson, her great-grandson, Aiden Green, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Nate (Jenn) Green, Jessica Pigeon-Wyant, her great-grandchildren, Alexa Green, and Andrew Pigeon, and her brother, Mike Kyzyma.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 4:00pm-6:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 10:00am. Entombment will be held at Schenectady Memorial Park, Schenectady, NY.
