Ann Ferris, 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.
Ann was the daughter of the late Lucas and Bessie Komorny.
She retired from GE after 30 years of service.
She loved to travel, making various crafts, tending to her yard and home and spending time with her family.
Ann is survived by her children, James (Charlotte) Ferris and Robert (Patricia) Ferris. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Sts. Cyril & Method Cemetery, Rotterdam.
The family would like to thank the entire staff with Daughters of Sarah for their care and support given to Ann.
