Ann M. Fish

Ann M. Fish , 78, entered into eternal life on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side.

Ann was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy Furness.

She was the devoted wife of over 55 years to the late Richard A. Fish, Sr.

Ann was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church for many years.

Ann was a Registered Child Care Nurse with St. Catherine's in Albany for several years, she also worked with the City of Albany as a School Crossing Guard and later with South Colonie School District as a Cafeteria Monitor. She loved donating clothing, lunch money, gloves, Christmas presents to those in need.

She loved going to BINGO, shopping, baking cupcakes for her family, but mostly she enjoyed being a pop warner mom and grandmother and cheering on her sons and grandsons.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Michael M. Romano, Sr.

Ann is survived by her children, Michele Fish-Albert, Richard A. Fish, Jr. and Robert A. Fish. She is the devoted grandma to Joseph F., Robert A. Albert and Madisyn A. and Brittyn D. Fish. She is also survived by her two sisters Jean D. Krell, Catherine Romano and her brother-in-law William Fish.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 9:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church 609 Central Ave., Albany, NY, 12206. Interment will follow the Mass at Memory Gardens, Colonie, NY.
