COLONIE – Ann Kayabalian, 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center.
Ann was born on December 20, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Mary and Hadge Kayabalian. She lived her entire life on the property that was named after her family. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1939 and became a secretary at ALCO in Schenectady and worked until its closure in the early 1970's. Ann took great interest in her gardens and Armenian cooking.
Ann is survived by her cousins, Archie Keyishian, Harry Keyishian, and her goddaughters, Heather Koehler and Ginny Ritz.
Funeral services will be held at the United Armenian Calvary Congregational Church, 144 Ninth Street. Troy on Thursday at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Memory's Garden, Colonie. Calling hours will be held at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.newcomerfamily.com
