Ann passed away peacefully on February 6, 2021 at the age of 81. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Born on January 14, 1940 to the late John Carroll, Sr. and Mary Cronin Carroll. Ann was raised in Watervliet and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School. Ann was the wife of the late Michael F. Kerin, Jr. and mother to the late Patricia. She will be greatly missed by her children Judith (Peter) LaCross of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Carol Ann (Arthur) Micare of Latham, Mary Beth (Matthew) Webster of Rexford, Michael (Michele) Kerin of Colonie, and Maureen (James) Shields of Clifton Park. Her grandchildren, Daniel (Jill) LaCross, Patrick (Catherine) LaCross, Emma Micare, Sara Micare, Courteney Kerin, Shannen Kerin, and Brendan Shields, will forever hold their favorite moments and memories of their Grandma Ann. Ann embraced her new role as "Gigi" to Connor LaCross and Colin LaCross.
Ann was one of twelve children raised in Watervliet. She was the sister of Jeanne Proctor, Michael (Kathy) Carroll, Brian Carroll, and Mary Jo Carroll. Also the late Arthur Carroll, Rosemary Perkins, John (Julie) Carroll, Thomas Carroll, Patricia Sibinich, Helen Kuentzel, Denise Lindheimer, and Judith Carroll. She is survived by sister-in-law Dianne Carroll and sister-in-law Kathleen Coggins. Also surviving are numerous nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces.
She was a former communicant of Sacred Heart of Mary in Watervliet and Our Lady of Assumption in Latham.
We wish to thank our mother's trusted physicians Dr. Thomas Smith and Dr. William Caramore for their dedicated care throughout the years.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ann's memory to a charity of your choice is appreciated. In keeping with the family's wishes, services and burial will be private.
