Ann M. Provost

BALLSTON SPA, NY – Ann M. Provost, 70, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011. Born in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Grover Aldous and Muriel Bates. She worked for Albany Medical Center for over twenty years before her retirement. Ann enjoyed arts and crafts, collecting frog statues and watching Dancing with the Stars. She especially loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. Ann was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Provost. She is the devoted mother of Ralph (Georgia) Wagoner, Carole A. (Robert) Quinn, Linda Martino, Antoinette (Vincent) Mainillo and Peter Provost, and stepmother of Curtis Provost and Keith Provost. Ann is the loving sister of Carl V. (Patti O'Rourke) Plue, Bertha "Bea" (the late Earl Hoffman) Provost and the late Faith (Patrick) Villani. Also surviving are many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services will be Monday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Ann M. Provost.
