Ann M. Vecere

Clifton Park- Ann M. Vecere, 87, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Ann was the daughter of the late Dr. August and Hedwig Schrieber. Ann was the devoted wife to the late George J. Vecere. They were married 50 years.

Ann was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and a communicant of St. Mary's, Crescent. She was also a proud member of the Halfmoon Senior Center. Ann enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them.

Ann is survived by her son Robert G. Vecere and his wife Marion and her daughter Jeanne M. Vecere. She is also survived by her brother Paul A. Schrieber. Ann also leaves behind her grandchildren; Scott R. Vecere, Julianna M. Powhida and 7 great- grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Sunday October 19, 2014 from 2 to 5pm. A funeral service will be held Monday October 20th, 2014 at 10am at New Comer Cannon Funeral. Entombment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie, NY at the mausoleum.
