Ann M. Westfall

COLONIE- Ann M. Westfall, 76, of Colonie, passed away on Sunday April 3, 2011 at her residence, with her family by her side.
She was born in Jersey Shore, PA and was the daughter of the late Bernie and Coleta Schmahl. Ann was a 1951 graduate of Vincentian Institute. She was a manager with RL Polk Company for twenty two years and had worked more recently with New York State Department of Motor Vehicle. Ann was the former President of the South Colonie PTA. She was very active and a former officer with several South Colonie youth organizations. She was predeceased in 1992 by her husband Ronald Westfall.
Ann is the beloved mother of Peter K. (Julie) Westfall, Wendy A. Skotarczak, Bonnie M. (Bob) Lewellyn, Michael W. Westfall, William A. (Patricia) Westfall, Ronald G. (Christy) Westfall and Bridgett M. (Edward) Meisner. Ann is the longtime dear friend of Beatrice Flood. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 9:00am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to South Colonie Dollars for Scholars, Milton Flood Scholarship, PO Box 12413, Albany, NY 12212-2413 in memory of Ann Westfall.
