TROY – Ann P. Mann, 97, of Troy passed away on Wednesday morning, December 23, 2020 at Van Rensselaer Manor in Troy following a period of declining health.
She was born in London England on September 19, 1923 a daughter to the late John Henry and Nester Matthews.
Ann joined her country's cause as a gunner during World War II in the British Army.
Following the war, Ann came to the United States with her late husband, Frederick and her late sons, Christopher and Regan. She worked for the Monroe-Woodbury Central School District for many years before retiring.
Ann is survived by her grandson, Ian (Katie) Mann, 3 granddaughters, Megan (Brandon) Talar, Caitlin (Benjamin) Mann and Jill (Eric) Mann; 2 great grandchildren Hailey and Lucas Place and a niece, Linda (Tony) Fichera
