SCHENECTADY – Ann Mitzi Grady, 74, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at her home.
Mitzi was born on February 19, 1931 in Albany to the late Harrison R. and Anna Mae Moran Friebel.
She was a lifelong Schenectady resident and enjoyed crocheting.
Mitzi is survived by her loving sons, Joseph B. (Kathy) Grady Jr. of Schenectady and Jonathan H. (Darlene) Grady of Ocala, FL; her cherished grandchildren, April Grady of Washington, DC and Jason Grady of Schenectady; her brother-in-law, Thomas E. McElroy Sr. of Ravena; her sister-in-law, Shirley (Edward) Bombard of Albany; her beloved friend, Dave Moratta of Scotia and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph B. Grady who died in 1996 and her sister, Mary Gladys McElroy who died in 2003.
A funeral service will be held on Monday March 28th at 9:00 a.m. at the New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment Calvary Cemetery in Glenmont. Calling hours will be on Saturday, March 26th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
