Ann Parrish

February 28, 1954 — August 13, 2023

Fort Edward -
Ann Parrish, 69, wife of Joseph Parrish, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Glens Falls
Hospital.
Born February 28, 1954 in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late George and
Josephine (Vitolo) DiGiulio.
Ann graduated from Bethpage High School in 1972. She married her highschool sweetheart,
Joey, on March 16, 1974 and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary next
year. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, active in the lives and activities of all her
grandchildren - they were her greatest joy.

Ann owned Milk & Honey, a boutique in Glens Falls, NY, for 18 years and worked to revitalize
the downtown area for all merchants and restaurants. Customers of Milk & Honey came not only
for Ann's unique and beautiful taste in clothing and home goods, but for Ann herself, who
always took time to listen and offer heartfelt words of caring and wisdom. She was also active in
One Life Church in Glens Falls, several Bible studies, and as a pastoral care volunteer at Glens
Falls Hospital. She was always quick to help others in any way necessary, quietly and without
fanfare, showing the love of Jesus to all she encountered. Gardening was one of Ann's most
loved pursuits; she grew flowers and vegetables, sharing the abundance with others. She
enjoyed cooking and baking, keeping her friends and families fed with all their favorite treats.
Everyone who met Ann felt her love for them.

Ann is survived by her husband Joe; daughters Christa Parrish (Chris Coppernoll) and Laura
Parrish-Combs (Terry Combs); grandchildren Gray Hernandez (Honour), Madeline Parrish,
Claire and Noah Coppernoll, Landon, Avery, Xavier, Zacharias, and Amelia Combs; and
great-grandson Hank Hernandez. She is also survived by her sister, Toni Pagano-L'Hommedieu
(Rich) and brother Thomas DiGiulio (Karen) and well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Per Ann's request, there will be no public memorial service.

Memorial donations in Ann's name may be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer
Center (https://www.roswellpark.org/giving/donate/honor-memorial-gifts) or Glens Falls Hospital
(https://www.glensfallshospital.org/about/foundation/tribute-giving/) - both which provided care
and treatment vital to Ann's seven-year remission of pancreatic cancer, and compassionate
end-of-life care when that cancer returned two months ago
