Albany- Ann T. (Shea) Prusak, 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2021 surrounded by family. Born in Brooklyn she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Higgins.
Known in the restaurant industry as "Birdie" she was an extremely hard worker. She had a great personality that went a long way with her working career and with her regulars. Ann retired from the West Gate Price Chopper.
Ann is survived by her two children Joseph T. Shea and Debroah Maio (James). She was the loving "Nana" to Kayla, Ashlee, Desiree and Ember and her seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Albany Medical Center in Ann's name.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 4pm-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A memorial service will being at 6pm at the funeral home.
