SCHENECTADY—Anna B. MacDougal, 83, of Schenectady NY passed away Monday November 21, 2011 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Anna was born on April 29, 1928 in Whallonsburgh, NY and was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Corbett Mitchell.
Mrs. MacDougal was predeceased by her late husband Kenneth D. MacDougal and brothers, John Samuel, William Mitchell and sisters, Margaret Baker, Shirley Potter, Marjorie Straight, Mary Cross and Dorothy Mitchell.
She is survived by her longtime companion of 40 years, Lennart Monson. Her son Charles A. MacDougal (Donna Houley) of Schenectady,NY; granddaughter, Jill Rash (Matthew) of Rotterdam, NY and grandson, Charles G. MacDougal (Julie) of Clifton Park, NY; great-grandchildren, Phillip and Breanna Beattie and Matthew, Jared and Merrick Rash; siblings, Ruby (Elmo) White of Flint, MI, Lesley (Diane) Mitchell of Jay, NY, Harry (Linda) Mitchell of Malta, NY and Alice Borden of Westport, NY; ex-daughter-in-law, Marjorie MacDougal; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday at 12 PM the New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). Interment to follow in Memory Gardens. Calling Hours will be Friday morning from 10 AM to 12 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
