Anna Bayba

COLONIE – Anna B. Bayba, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2005. Born in Grand Rapids, MI on December 14, 1913, she lived for many years in Stephentown, NY before moving to Colonie. Anna was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing lottery games. She also loved making all kinds of crafts. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Borszcz and beloved wife of the late William Bayba. She is the devoted mother of Patricia B. Taggart, William Z. Bayba, Sr. and his wife, Barbara and Paul E. Bayba. Anna is the cherished grandmother of Janis (Joe) Mitola, Bill Bayba, Jr., Lori Bayba, Patricia Romano and Bobbi Jane (Steve) Benedict. She also leaves behind five great-grandchildren, David, Jessica, Brittany, Johnna and Alexandria. Also surviving is one sister, Catherine (Larry) Hayde and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 10th at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden. Anna's family would like to thank all of the staff at Shaker Place in Albany County Nursing Home, as well as the 5th floor staff at St. Peter's Hospital for all of the support and care given to her.
