MARAVILLE LAKE - Anna Borzymowski, 94, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Anna was born on August 18, 1918 in Wilkes Barre, PA to the late Anthony and Tekla (Bonia) Furman.
Anna enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens, cooking, traveling to Seaside Heights, NJ and she was the best care giver anyone could have.
Anna is survived by her loving children, Robert (Nancy) Borzymowski and Debra Gurdak both of Pattersonville, her cherished grandchildren, Amie (Andrew) Myers, Laura (Joshua) Doherty, William (Angela) Borzymowski, Joseph and Jonathan Borzymowski, and Brittany and Amber Roberts; her cherished great grandchildren, Alyssa Marmaduke, Landen Mosher, Annabeth Borzymowski and Zoey Myers; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Borzymowski and two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of the Visiting Nurses and Community Hospice of Schenectady and to Sue & Tim Roberts, Lenora Spinazola, Jean, John Bard, the Whittemore's, the Schutten's and the Dubucs' families for their loving care given to Anna.
