ALBANY – Anna R. Brady, 87 of Albany, passed away on Thursday May 25, 2006 at Albany County Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Greenwich, NY and was the daughter of the late William and Frances Galloway and Donald and Mary Wolfe.
Anna had worked at the former Armour Meat Packing, Albany Memorial Hospital, Albany City & Savings Bank and Stittigs ice cream parlor.
She is the beloved wife of 62 years to John J. Brady. Anna is the loving mother of Frank J. Brady (Rena), Donald H. Brady (Amber), Fran A. Stone (Norman), Wilbur (Willie) L. Brady Sr. (Theresa), Richard Brady Sr. (Sandra), and the late John W. and Kenneth Brady. She is also survived by 17 devoted grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 9:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to Trinity United Methodist Church, Albany at 10:00. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany or Albany County Nursing Home Activities Fund in memory of Anna R. Brady.
