LOUDONVILLE- Anna M. Churchill, 79, of Loudonville, passed away on Wednesday April 4, 2007. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late William and Anna Haag Murphy. She was predeceased in 1974 by her husband William E. Churchill.
Anna was a 1946 graduate of Vincentian Institute. After raising her family, she worked as a teacher's aide at Shaker Rd. Elementary School in Colonie. which was both rewarding and enjoyable. She was an avid New York Mets fan and enjoyed her flowers and backyard.
Anna is the beloved mother of Carol A. Sumbler, William (Patricia) Churchill, Daniel (Coleen) Churchill, Michael (Dawn) Churchill and Robert Churchill. She is the cherished grandmother of Casey Hotaling, Patrick Fiaschetti, Dan, Kelly, Mike and Sarah Kate Churchill. Great grandmother of Ryann and William Hotaling. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 9:15 at NewComer-Cannon Family funeral home, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Francis de Sales Church, Maria Drive at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
