Anna E. Winn

COLONIE – Anna E. Winn, 85, of Colonie, passed away on Friday October 8, 2010 at the Inn of Community Hospice. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Herluf R. and Anna E. Kletz Hansen.
Anna was employed as head file clerk with New York State Tax & Finance for over 32 years, retiring in 1986. She was a longtime former Girl Scout leader. Anna was the Past President of the Midway Colonie Republican Women's Club and the Maywood PTA. She was predeceased in 1992 by her beloved husband of 50 years, Ernest R. Winn Jr.
Anna is the beloved mother of E. Robert (Trudy) Winn, Judith A. McCabe and James T. (Susan) Winn. She is the cherished grandmother of Debbie, Keith, Shannon, Sean, Ali, Andi and Sara. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Anna will be dearly missed by her feline companion, Corey.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday from 5 to 8 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 7:30 pm.
