Anna Finlay

ALBANY – Anna N. (Pollicino) Finlay, 81, died on Friday February 18, 2005 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital.
Anna was born on January 31, 1924 in Albany to the late Aniello and Annunziata Cuomo Pollicino.
Anna was a clerk for the NYS Thruway Authority in Albany. She was also a Gold Star Mother.
Anna is the beloved mother and mother-in-law of Bill and Donna Finlay of Stuyvesant and the late Edward Finlay; cherished grandmother of Megan (Rob) Finlay-Newkirk, Michael Finlay and Christopher Finlay; and great grandmother of Caelin Maria Newkirk. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Angie Pollicino, 2 brothers-in-law, Ed Parsons and Irv Cohen and many nieces and nephews.
Anna was predeceased by 3 sisters, Lucy Sirigiano, Mary Parsons and Carmela Cohen; 3 brothers, John, Tony and Rocky Pollicino; 2 sisters-in-law, Dora Pollicino and Micky Pollicino; and a brother-in-law, Charlie Sirigiano.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10:45 a.m. at the New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to St. Patrick's Church, 279 Central Ave., Albany, at 11:30 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Anna N. Finlay.
